Alexis, the only restaurant in Bangsar that won’t serve tap water “upstairs”. But after threatening to leave they agreed to provide a “free” bottle of mineral water. When asked why they would not serve tap water, the Manager said “I’m here to follow company rules”. I said “so you are not here to make money?”. Manager “oh well I suppose that too”. I said “Decision time. Either give us some water or we will all leave” (there were 9 of us – at least the guy could do the math on that). Manager “Oh! Well I can give you a free bottle of mineral water”. Mind boggling stupidity!!
